The girl, seeing that the guy’s gaze was locked on her, felt her skin tremble as fear shook her to the core.
She had thought that if she called the police, it would scare them and force them to stop, but it did not seem to be the case at all.
This caught her completely off guard, and the last straw she had been holding onto for survival was extinguished like a fragile bubble popping in the air.
"Scared now, you little bitch? You should have minded your own business and stayed away, but you actually ran all the way up here,"
Vlad said with a cruel smile as he took a step forward and touched her cheek.
The girl was also beautiful, though not to the extent of being called a goddess. Still, she was clearly above average.
She had long black hair, big eyes, a slightly plump face, and fair skin.
Her appearance was gentle and pleasant, making her stand out among ordinary students.
"You know, I have noticed you sometimes hanging around with this trash, but I decided not to mind it. However, you have gone too far this time," he said while caressing her cheek as she remained frozen in fear.
"Do not touch Lillia with your dirty hands, asshole!"
A shout of fury erupted as Evan rushed forward, his eyes burning with rage.
Seeing this, the three boys laughed hysterically as they stood up to block him.
But the moment Evan finally pulled out a sharp and large pair of scissors, their faces showed a serious look.
As Evan rushed forward and was about to stab the young man, Paolo quickly darted to the side.
By lowering himself, he dodged the attack, and then a punch came crashing into Evan’s abdomen, making Evan’s face contort in pain.
"Idiot, have you forgotten that we are much stronger than you think?
Do you really think bringing this thing will help you?" Paolo said as he stepped on Evan’s face, making Evan feel deeply ashamed.
However, Evan’s focus was still on Lillia.
He could not help but curse inwardly, since Lillia was considered one of his best friends.
To keep her safe, he had tried to distance himself from her and break their friendship, but sometimes she was just too clingy.
And now, she was really in trouble and he could not let anything happen to her because of him.
"Pass me those scissors," Vlad said casually without turning around.
He did not even feel threatened, even though he had nearly been stabbed in the back.
"Here, catch,"
The young man with dyed yellow hair said as he picked up the scissors and swung them through the air.
The scissors whistled as they made an arc in the air. Vlad simply raised his hand and caught the tip of the scissors with ease.
As members of wealthy families, they had been trained in combat for protection, so clearly, they were not people who could be messed with easily.
"You look so ugly in that uniform, let me fix that for you," Vlad said.
The moment he said that, he swung the scissors. The outer layer of her school uniform was cut cleanly, making the cloth loosen and fall partly from her shoulder.
The sudden action made Lillia’s face turn pale as she quickly held the remaining fabric against herself, her eyes filled with fear and humiliation.
"You fuckerrrr..."
Evan did not finish what he wanted to say before a foot landed on his stomach, making him groan in pain once again.
"Heh. Let me humiliate her right in front of you, trash," Vlad said with a devilish smile.
Lillia stepped back in fear, but her wrist was held by a hand that would not budge.
Alya, seeing this, only shook her head. This girl was really stupid to think that calling the police would work on them.
Clearly, she was truly inexperienced about how the world worked.
Since this did not bother her anyway, Alya simply leaned her back against the railing at the edge of the school building and watched the scene unfold.
But her eyes shook intently, like she wanted to move or not since this is a girl, and she was also a girl. But first, she decided to watch for a moment, and let her know how the world functions.
As Vlad turned around to face Evan’s despairing look while a foot was still pressed against Evan’s face, he felt a deep sense of satisfaction.
He really loved this kind of feeling.
Despair.
Absolute despair.
Just as Vlad was about to pull Lillia closer so he could give Evan a front row seat to her humiliation, a hand suddenly patted his shoulder.
That single touch made his skin tingle and without thinking, Vlad let go of Lillia’s hand and dashed away.
Then, he quickly looked back with a frightened expression because he had not felt any presence at all.
Looking toward the entrance of the stairs, he saw a young man who seemed to be around his age standing there.
The young man leaned down, picked up the fallen uniform, and draped it over Lillia for a moment.
"Cover yourself and step aside for now," Jeff said.
His eyes then moved toward his brother, who was lying on the ground with a bruised and violet face. The mark on his face earlier this morning was even more visible than before, or rather it was 10times visible and worse than before.
Without wasting any time, he only took one step forward, and in the next moment, he had already arrived in front of Paolo, who was a foot shorter than him.
His golden eyes glowed faintly, making Paolo feel frightened, as if a beast were standing right in front of him.
Evan, seeing that the person who had arrived was actually his brother, also panicked.
But then, what truly shook Evan to his core was what happened next.
Jeff only raised his hand and slapped Paolo.
Paolo, the one who had beaten Evan so easily earlier, was handled even more easily by Jeff.
A single slap.
That was all it took for Paolo to be flung away about five feet, with a few loose teeth flying from his mouth.
"Can you stand?" Jeff asked.
Then, following a few hurried footsteps, Mira, Mara, Lora, and Lance arrived.
Seeing one of the rich young masters lose a few teeth, Lora already knew that something like this would happen.
And now, the trouble was no longer something she could take care of.
The only thing she could do now was lessen the damage.
Looking around, she saw Lillia and nudged the two girls beside her, signaling them to take Lillia away for now.
Mira and Mara nodded their heads, since this problem was not something they could help with.
Vlad, whose eyes never left the young man, wondered who this person was.
"I can, thanks big brother," Evan said as he stood up weakly with his battered condition, thankfully his resolve was strong.
However, Jeff still helped him by pulling him up with one arm and gently pushed him toward the railing so he could balance himself.
Then he asked, "Are you being bullied?"
He asked this without turning his back toward those people.
His voice was not low, nor was it loud, but it could be clearly heard throughout the rooftop.
Norman and the extra guy, looked at each other and ran toward Vlad to form a formation.
They were not stupid enough to think that this guy was easy to deal with.
But when they heard that he was actually this trash’s brother, they felt a little better inside.
After all, trash was still trash.
But for now, the two could not act recklessly since they had no people with them today.
If they angered this guy carelessly, they might follow Paolo’s example.
On the other side, Alya seeing that there was a cool and handsome young man radiating an aura of invincibility, she was captivated for a moment.
But her face also turned serious, since she had never felt his presence either.
Seeing Vlad’s expression, she understood that this man was trouble, so she simply stood there quietly.
After all, this was not her problem in the first place. Evan just looked at his big brother, who stood there like an indomitable tower waiting for his answer.
For a moment, Evan swallowed his words. His eyes shifted toward Paolo, who had been arrogant earlier but was now lying on the ground, looking like he was close to dying.
But Evan knew that even after beating them up, the people behind them would bring even more trouble.
So he shook his head.
"No," he said with deep helplessness.
They were no match at all.
Even if they won here, which was something Evan felt was impossible, they would still lose in the end.
Hearing this, the two behind Vlad laughed at his cowardice. Even Lance frowned, since as a man, one should at least have some kind of backbone.
But Jeff did not hurriedly judge his little brother.
He knew that without support, how could a person have confidence and arrogance?
This time, he would show Evan that in this world, he had nothing to fear.
"Just stand there and let me deal with everything. I will vent out everything you have experienced during these two years," Jeff casually remarked.
